Welcome to GT Invest, Yentl

The GT Invest vacancy appealed to you because...

“Before I started out at GT Invest, I worked for two years as a Tax Consultant for expats. So this was a really specific role, and I wanted to be able to work more broadly. I wanted to know what went on behind the scenes of a company. That meant the diversity of GT Invest’s portfolio companies was a huge appeal for me. I’m really closely involved in all these companies’ everyday operations. What’s more, Liana and I studied together, and I was immediately enthusiastic when she told me there was a new vacancy open for a Business Analyst.”

What is your role and what exactly does it entail?

“Together with Joren and Liana, I conduct analyses for our portfolio companies. I also see to organising and optimising our portfolio companies, and draw up reports for them.”

How do you aim to make a difference for GT Invest’s portfolio companies?

“My studies in Business Administration at Ghent University mean I’ve acquired broad knowledge, and I can look beyond merely the financial picture. Given that I acquire and process information in various ways, I’m able to better advise portfolio companies on how they can optimise.”

The diversity of portfolio companies GT Invest collaborates with means no two working days are the same.

What makes you enthusiastic about starting your working day?

“At GT Invest no two days are the same and what's more, the analyses for the various companies are never identical. To me, that diversity means a real added value.

Where will we find you in your free time?

“In my free time I like to travel, and I love going out to eat or drink with friends and family. I then make up for that by regularly going for a run or jumping on my racing bike.”

Good luck with your career and welcome to GT Invest, Yentl!
