Poolspot further strengthens its position with the acquisition of Noppe Swimming Pools
Since late 2021, Noppe Swimming Pools is part of the Poolspot project, joining ‘JDS Pools’, ‘Intrapools’, ‘Zwembadvoordeel.be’ and ‘De Zwemwereld’. The consolidation and thorough integration of these reference players makes Poolspot the largest and most professional swimming pool group in Flanders, with a presence in West Flanders, East Flanders and Antwerp.
About Noppe Swimming Pools
Noppe Swimming Pools is a household name in Antwerp. The company, previously known as Ponnet Swimming Pools, was acquired by Tom Noppe in 2007 and renamed Noppe Swimming Pools in 2008. Noppe Swimming Pools is located in a commercial location in Antwerp, close to the Wijnegem shopping center. Unlike most players in 'pool land', the company has been actively creating a structure, and is also already highly digitised and has built a large team of professional pool technicians.
In addition to installing swimming pools, the company is mainly known as a partner in total solutions for swimming pools, from traditional maintenance to the complete renovation of older pools. In 2021 Noppe Swimming Pools has completed more than 100 new swimming pool projects.
With this acquisition, our group combines all the top reference players in monoblock swimming pools in Flanders, with Noppe Swimming Pools excelling in a strong organisation and digitised platform.
About GT Invest and the project Poolspot
At the beginning of 2021, GT Invest made the decision to invest in the swimming pool sector. The main reason for this was the absence of a large, professional player that is active all over Flanders. The integration of the various swimming pool companies makes Poolspot the largest and most professional player in Flanders for the installation of monoblock swimming pools and for the complete service for customers before, during and after installation. In 2021, the group jointly completed some 345 new swimming pool projects.
In 2022, the Poolspot project will be further implemented, with the further integration of the various companies without losing their individuality. Mid 2022, the group will come out under a new commercial group name and will continue to be managed from the new head office in Kortrijk. For example, Noppe Swimming Pools will be the local partner for the Antwerp market and the rest of Flanders will be served from Lokeren (Intrapools), Maldegem (JDS Pools) and Kortrijk (De Zwemwereld).
The Group focuses on installing monoblock swimming pools from market leader LPW Pools. Customers with specific requirements in terms of shape or finish can be helped with our custom-made swimming pools from Belgian manufacturer Carropools.
